The 7 basic rules for successful collaboration on Odepla

  1. Respectful treatment: To ensure a pleasant community, it is important that you treat all users with respect. Be friendly and professional in dealing with each other.
  2. Give feedback: In order for architects and architecture students to be able to implement orders in the best possible way, it is important that clients give them regular feedback and comment on their work.
  3. Be precise: A clear and concise description of design requests or competitions is crucial to get the desired design. Clients should therefore ensure that their requirements are easily understandable for architects and architecture students.
  4. Appropriate Content: Pornographic, lewd or violent content is prohibited.
  5. Copyright and usage rights: It is important to respect copyright and terms of use. Under no circumstances should content be uploaded that does not belong to the person uploading it. In addition, architects and architecture students must not be asked to copy designs from others. Clients must also ensure that they only have the rights to use a design once the design has been successfully completed and the contractor has received the prize money or the agreed fee.
  6. Honesty and trust: We pay attention to honest and trusting dealings on Odepla. Multiple user accounts or fraud attempts of any kind are therefore prohibited.
  7. No bypassing Odepla: To ensure that our platform can always be maintained and developed, we charge fees on prize money in competitions and design requests. In return, we offer our customers services such as brokering to customers, fast and secure payment processing and clear and simple documentation. If an architect or architecture student tries to circumvent our fees by accepting commissions outside of the platform, it is a violation of our platform rules and the person will be warned or permanently banned.
